A night with a shepherd family at 3,000 m — milking, horse games and the clearest sky you’ve seen.
What you’ll do
Day 1
Up to the lake
Drive from Kochkor over the Kalmak-Ashuu pass; afternoon horse trek along the shore; dinner with the family.
Day 2
Morning with the shepherds
Milking, kumis, a last ride, then back down to Kochkor or Bishkek.
